ORLANDO With $240,000 in student scholarships and community grants in hand, the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation awarded its largest disbursement of such funds during the CFHLA Gives membership luncheon. Held Thursday, April 26, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, the luncheon included scholarship recipients, elected officials and CFHLA members. Also part of the program were the recognition of 107 CFHLA “Adopt a School” partnerships, and a “CFHLA Cares” collection drive for homeless students in Orange and Osceola counties.
