West Orange-area homebuyers soon will have more housing options to consider in the Dr. Phillips area. Builder and developer Pulte Homes introduced recently Phillips Grove, a new estate-home community that will offer 229 home sites priced from $500,000 to $2 million near Apopka-Vineland Road and Buena Vista Boulevard.

The community will feature 13 different floor plans ranging from $500,000 to $1 million-plus; two to seven bedrooms; two-and-one-half to six-and-one-half bathrooms; and two- to three-car garages. The sizes of the homes range from 2,000 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet, and some of the larger homes come with life-tested designs that can be personalized to fit any family’s needs and lifestyle. The community also will offer six lots with frontage on the Butler Chain of Lakes.

Clint Ball, president of Pulte Homes’ North Florida division, said the lakefront homes will sit on about an acre and will serve as the project’s premium spots.

“It’s exclusive,” Ball said. “There’s not much land left (for homes) on the Butler Chain of Lakes, so this is an opportunity for people who have been looking for that.”

The new community will offer a number of amenities, such as a gated entrance, resort-style swimming pool with cabana and a summer kitchen and athletic courts. Lawn care also will be included for those who live in the community, and the homes will feature smart functionality, Ball said.

“Every Pulte home is designed to be exactly as smart as you want it to be, meaning intelligence is built into each home,” he said. “From the basic pre-wire to a full suite of automation options, you’ll be able to control the aspects of your home that you want to control right from your voice or smartphone.”

Ball said he expects Phillips Grove to appeal to buyers looking to upgrade to new construction as well as those who seek to live in the desirable Dr. Phillips community.

“We are very excited to bring our Phillips Grove community to life this year,” he said. “This is a prime opportunity for buyers looking for new construction in Dr. Phillips. … We believe this will be one of the most unique opportunities to come to the market in Orlando this year.”

Phillips Grove is located minutes from Interstate 4 and the shopping and dining options on Dr. Phillips’ Restaurant Row.

Phillips Grove becomes the third Pulte project under development in Dr. Phillips; it joins Pulte’s Ruby Lake and Overlook at Ruby Lake projects.

The grand opening of Phillips Grove is set for this spring, and model homes will be available to tour by then, as well.
