In memory of Caleb Solomon Williams, who passed away at nearly 8 years old from T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, his namesake foundation hosted its annual 5K fun-run benefit at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake Saturday, July 28. Posters featuring the names and faces of children who are either battling or have lost their lives to cancer lined the walkways, and health-related vendors offered resources such as free mammograms and massages. Participants also were treated to breakfast and music from radio station Star 94.5.
