WINTER GARDEN For 10 years now the Garden Theatre has been a staple for the performing-arts culture in the Winter Garden community, and it celebrated its anniversary with a special gala on Saturday, March 3. “Encore: A 10 Year Anniversary Celebration” featured Broadway legend Joel Grey as the special guest. The gala supports the theatre’s onstage artistry and its education programs, and its staff plans to expand community programs offered in the near future. Guests at the gala enjoyed interacting with Grey and were treated to performances by local talent. The evening concluded with a VIP reception, during which attendees enjoyed light bites, drinks and a photo opportunity with Grey.
