Dozens of runners and walkers took off as the annual David Stephens 5k began.
Carin Anderson run the 5K with her dog Lucy.
From left to right, Doug Pickell, Lleyton Denmark and Andrew Hamner were the first three runners to finish the 5K — Denmark finished first, Pickell finished second and Hamner finished third.
Pastor David Stephens enjoyed a cup of coffee before running the 5K.
Anthony Lamson gave a thumbs up as he crossed the finish line.

Runners and Walkers enjoyed a morning of fellowship as they took part in the Third Annual David Stephens 5K on May 5 at First Baptist Church of Windermere. The running/walking event is hosted by St. Luke's United Methodist Church and is held in honor of Pastor David Stephens, who retired from St. Luke’s after serving for about 28 years. The event helps benefit families and children in need.
