WINDERMERE Over-the-top hats, bright patterns and roses filled the event hall at the Pines at Windermere Saturday, May 5, during the West Orange Junior Service League’s annual Run for the Roses event. The Kentucky Derby-themed evening included an open bar, games, live disc jockey, dancing, silent auction, derby hat and best-dressed contests and a live showing of the Kentucky Derby. Proceeds, as always, will benefit various West Orange-area charities.
