A man died at a residence on Calliope Street in the Windsor Landings neighborhood following a police encounter. According to the Ocoee Police Department, officers responded to a domestic disturbance call, and once on scene, the incident escalated and officers used force, including a Taser, to take the man into custody.
After being Tased, the man was transported to Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital where he died. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is conducting a use of force investigation at the request of Ocoee police.
