WINDERMERE There was a mixture of laughter, nostalgia and even a few tears here and there Saturday, Feb. 23, as dozens gathered at Windermere Town Hall to say farewell to retiring Mayor Gary Bruhn. Having served as mayor for 15 years, Bruhn will officially retire toward the end of March. During the farewell party attendees expressed their gratitude toward and well wishes for Bruhn as they socialized and chatted over drinks, light bites and cake.
