New exhibition opening in SoBo Gallery

A new exhibition will be calling the SoBo Art Gallery home for the month of August.

The gallery will be celebrating the opening of the Water Works Exhibition on Thursday, August 1 with an evening reception. The reception runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the SoBo Gallery at 127 S. Boyd St., Winter Garden. Guests will enjoy wine, appetizers and mingling with the artists who have their works on display in the exhibition.

The Water Works Exhibition features 2D and 3D artworks related to the conservation, recreation, beauty and nature of water. About 60 different pieces — which were selected from more than 200 submissions — from local artists will be featured in the exhibition.
