Students at the SoBo Summer Art Camps took a deep dive into their summer with ocean-themed art to kick off their summer. The theme of the very first week of this arts summer camp was, “It’s Only Natural.” Children from grade two through middle school spent their time at the camp learning to use various natural materials and different mediums to create art in classes led by local artist and instructor, Lenore Eastham. The first day, students drew a fish and decorated a canvas bag with a sea turtle bringing bright colors to the natural materials.
