Janette Ramos at the Winter Garden branch of the Orange County Library System converted an office in the library into an escape room just for library-goers. In small groups, participants entered the room and had under 30 minutes to "break out" by solving clues based on the Netflix series, "Stranger Things."
Each group had to uncover intricate clues to find the combinations of four locks on a box by solving riddles, uncovering hidden keys and finding secret messages only visible by blacklight to finish the game. They examined Dungeons and Dragons board game miniatures and inspected maps and posters.
