West Orange Habitat for Humanity has promoted its development director to the position of executive director. Marilyn Hattaway is CFRE-credentialed and has worked within the Habitat for Humanity organization for two-and-a-half years.

Since joining the West Orange affiliate in 2017, she has increased fundraising substantially with the introduction of the Women Build and Rock the House campaigns and through financial support from individuals, corporations, churches and foundations.

In her new role, Hattaway will continue to drive success in pursuit of the organization’s vision - a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

“I am proud to represent the vital and growing mission of West Orange Habitat for Humanity, and I am deeply honored to expand our work and my role as executive director," Hattaway said.

West Orange Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1990 and is a recognized affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The affiliate office is located in the ReStore, located at 13369 W. Colonial Drive, in Winter Garden.
