Man dies in Ocoee crash

He was the only occupant in the vehicle and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

One man is dead following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Ocoee.

Ocoee police responded to the crash at 7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, near 282 Moore Road. According to police, the vehicle went through a metal fence and ended upright against a retention pond barrier wall. The driver was the only occupant.

The driver was taken to Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital, in Ocoee, where he was later pronounced dead. Police are not releasing the identity of the driver until next of kin has been notified.

The crash is being investigated by the Ocoee Police Department Traffic Unit.
