Valencia College president takes to Garden Theatre stage

Valencia College President Sandy Shugart is heading to the Garden Theatre for a night of music, poetry and stories.

Shugart will be bringing his folksy, acoustic sounds for the one-night performance at the Garden at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the box office, by phone at 407-877-4736 ext. 0 or online at gardentheatre.org.

Accompanied by a close group of fellow musicians, Shugart creates a blend of folk-influenced, coffeehouse-style beats. The poet, storyteller and  singer-songwriter leads the group through original songs accompanied by rich vocals and his acoustic guitar.
