The Woman’s Club of Ocoee celebrated its 96th anniversary birthday luncheon Saturday, March 7 with an abundance of flowers and decorations and party favors — and dozens of attendees, too.
All but two of the tables were decorated by members of the club. The remaining two were sponsored by Texas Roadhouse and Chick-fil-A, a trend the club hopes to continue next year.
The event, held at the clubhouse on North Lakewood Avenue, included raffles and door prizes, a catered meal, a fashion show by Vivian White of Upscale Thrift and a purse auction.
The Woman’s Club of Ocoee was organized and incorporated in 1924. Its motto is Service with Love.
