Oakland Avenue Charter School held its Fifth-Grade Fly-Away to celebrate the promotion of the OACS Eagles who are preparing to soar to middle school.
A car parade of graduating students followed the car line route at the school while teachers and staff stood along the decorated path celebrating the graduates. Posters, balloons, bubbles and more added to the festive atmosphere.
While in the car line, each student’s name was announced, handed his or her certificate of promotion and given a congratulatory yard sign.
