After COVID-19 canceled the majority of events last year, the West Orange Junior Service League and guests were thrilled to be able to enjoy a day at the derby Saturday, May 1, for the league’s annual Run for the Roses fundraiser. Held at Ocoee’s Lakeshore Center this year, the event featured food, drinks, music, games, a photo booth and a live showing of the Kentucky Derby. Attendees arrived in their best derby hats and snazziest outfits to celebrate the occasion.
