Watercolor Society holding juried show in Oakland

The exhibition will hang in the town’s arts and heritage center through April 26, with a reception April 12.

The 2024 Annual Central Florida Watercolor Society’s Juried Show is being held at the Healthy West Orange Arts and Heritage Center at the Town of Oakland. The exhibition features a variety of subjects and represents the best works submitted and selected by the juror, Anne Abgott, an internationally known award-winning artist and author of the popular watercolor book “Daring Color.”

The show hangs through April 26. The arts andheritage center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays.

A reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 12. The center is located at 230 N. Tubb St., Oakland. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, visit centralfloridawatercolor.org.
