Town of Oakland brings back farmers market

The town of Oakland did not host any farmers markets in the month of July.

Oakland’s farmers market will take place Thursday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., along the West Orange Trail at 126 W Petris Ave.

Back in full effect, the market will host several vendors varying from produce to artisan goods to entertainment and more.

This is the first market since June, when the town made the decision to not host markets due to the heat.
