Jag Cantina closes near Windermere

The “cursed” restaurant location at the northeast corner of Conroy Windermere Road and South Apopka Vineland Road appears to have claimed its latest victim.

Jag Cantina, the upscale Mexican restaurant that opened in June at 8965 Conroy Windermere Road, Orlando, is closed.

Although the restaurant has made no official announcement, the business’ profile on Google indicates that is has “permanently closed.” Furthermore, no person or recording answers the business’ phone number.

Jag Cantina’s last social media post was made Nov. 25 to advertise its Taco Tuesday promotion. The restaurant also advertised a Santa Meet & Greet event to be held throughout December.

Jag Cantina opened earlier this year, taking over the spot formerly operated by Black Rock Bar & Grill. Before Black Rock, the space was occupied by Fresh Made Kitchen and earlier by Perkins.
