Oakland’s Santa’s Lane set for Saturday

The town of Oakland will welcome the Christmas season with its signature event Saturday.

The annual Santa’s Lane event takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Oakland Town Center, 230 N. Tubb St., Oakland.

Guests will have the opportunity to sit with Santa for a free photo, and kids will leave with a special treat from the North Pole. The event also will feature an inflatable alpine snow slide; snowflakes on the West Orange Trail; a Christmas Village Market; arts and crafts; bounce houses; milk and cookies, and more.
