The Foundation Academy held its annual Light Up FA to make spirits bright Thursday, Dec. 11.
The lighting of the school’s tree started the event, followed by music, games, activities and lots of festivities for the hundreds of attendees.
Guests enjoyed free hot cocoa and ice cream -- the perfect combination-- while food trucks also were present to offer delicious food.
Children were able to get their faces painted at a face-paint station, as well as participate in arts and crafts.
A snow machine was also put on top of the roof to imitate snow and some kids spent the entire event playing with it, enjoying every "flake" that fell from the sky.
