Learn West Coast swing dancing in Winter Garden

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to swing dance, here’s your chance!

The West Orlando Westies host a weekly dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays at the Hugh T. Gregory American Legion Post 63, 271 W. Plant St., Winter Garden.

SCHEDULE
• 7-7:30 p.m. Beginner Basics for West Coast Swing. Go over a few basic steps for this dance. Great for absolute beginners and for those who wish to practice fundamentals.

• 7:30-8:15 p.m. Beginner Plus. Work on harder patterns and concepts for those who have been doing West Coast Swing longer. No Partner needed; the group rotates partners so everyone gets a chance to practice.

• 8:15-10:30 p.m. Social Dancing. No partner needed.

Class plus social dancing costs $15; $5 if you are just coming for the dancing or as a spectator.
