The Florida Bicycle Association and Bike/Walk Central Florida will host the Florida Bicycle Summit 2025 this weekend in Winter Garden.
This three-day event takes place Friday, Nov. 14, to Sunday, Nov. 16, in both Winter Garden and Clermont.
Join advocates, transportation professionals, health experts, government leaders and riders for a powerful weekend of inspiration, collaboration and celebration of biking in the Sunshine State.
SCHEDULE
FRIDAY, NOV. 14
Main Summit Sessions: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tanner Hall, 29 W. Garden Ave., Winter Garden.
This day will include featured speakers, the Wheels of Achievement Awards, a panel discussion on e-bikes and training.
Speakers include:
• Bill Nesper, executive director of the League of American Bicyclists
• Lisa Watts, author of “Crossing Bridges: What Biking Up the East Coast Taught Me About Life After 60”
• Ned Baier, AICP, president of the Florida Greenways & Trails Foundation
• Beth Black, author of “The Caring Parents’ E-Bike Survival Guide”
SATURDAY, NOV. 15
This day will feature a Kids Bike Rodeo (southwest corner of Ninth and Plant streets, Winter Garden) and the Cycling and Fitness Expo (Waterfront Park, Clermont)
SUNDAY, NOV. 16
Horrible Hundred Cycling Event (Clermont): Summit registrants receive a discount code for the 45th annual Horrible Hundred ride organized by Florida Freewheelers.
