If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a winning sports team, here’s your chance!

The Orlando Valkyries, the local Major League Volleyball team, will host tryouts for its Hype Squad from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA Family Center, 7000 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Orlando.

Be a part of the squad that gets fans hyped up to support the Valkyries.

Last season, the Valkyries finished with an 18-10 record. The team plays its home games at Additional Financial Arena at the University of Central Florida.
