Town of Windermere to host first Lakes Cleanup Day

The cleanup begins at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at Fernwood Park, 632 Butler St., Windermere.

The town of Windermere is inviting you and your family for a day of giving back to the community.

Windermere will host its first Lakes Cleanup Day at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at Fernwood Park, 632 Butler St., Windermere.

Volunteers will meet at 1:15 p.m. for staging and gathering supplies. 

Please wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared to walk down streets and through neighborhoods gathering trash to help prevent refuse from ending up in Windermere’s lakes. Please ensure minors have an adult present.
