Dear reader:

Longtime readers of the West Orange Times & Observer, Southwest Orange Observer and OrangeObserver.com know our company has a tradition of having a little fun on April Fools’ Day.

Just to be clear: The story, “Developer proposes boathouse-boathouses to end Windermere controversy,” is not true.

Neither is “New plan flushes Windermere restroom debate.”

Or “County approves E-Bike Ultimate.”

So rest easy.

There is no such thing as a boathouse-boathouse. And Buc-ee’s hasn’t approached Windermere about its restrooms. And E-Bike Ultimate isn’t a thing (we think).

Anyway, we hope our little spoofs made you smile. We know you depend on us for your hyperlocal news, and we are committed to delivering the best, most accurate and comprehensive news report in West Orange and Southwest Orange.

But we also know the importance of a little levity from time to time. We hope you do, too. Thanks for reading!
