The First Academy girls lacrosse team has been dominating on the field since the season began. The team holds a 15-2 record after defeating Trinity Prep 18-5 in the Class 1A District 6 quarterfinals Wednesday, April 8.

The game was more than another win on the team's record book. TFA's junior goalie Savannah Case made her 200th career save and eighth-grader Lily Rumble made her 100th career goal.

"Savannah has been the backbone of this team for the past three seasons," TFA girls lacrosse wrote on social media. "She shows up every game in and game out, making her teammates better and elevating this team as a whole."

Rumble leads the team in goals per game with 4 and Case averaged a .478 save percentage.

"Lily has developed into a true offensive threat and her workhorse mentality combined with her refuse-to-lose attitude has made a tremendous impact on her teammates and this team as a whole," TFA wrote.

TFA's next game will be against Bishop Moore for the district semifinals at 6 p.m. Monday, April 13.
