West Orange celebrates boys lacrosse team awards

The Warriors named the MVP, offensive and defensive player of the year, and more for the 2025-2026 season.

West Orange High boys lacrosse team has wrapped up its 2025-2026 campaign 12-6 and prepares for the 2A District 6 Regional Semifinal game against Olympia High at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14. But before treading deeper into the postseason, the team celebrated its players for their accomplishments. 

For on-field performance, the Warriors awarded Noah Mascia the Warrior award, Dustin Strickland the MVP, Warrun Stuart the coaches award, Brayden Sylvester the offensive player of the year and Hajune Baik the defensive player of the year. 

West Orange also recognized players for their off-field performance. Taylor Uhle earned the leadership award, Hayden Dalton the Bulldog award, Grant Bustamante the most improved player, and Elan Archambault, Nick Isernia, Logan Lucas and Gavin Fischer all were given the impact award.
