West, Southwest Orange boys basketball state playoff brackets

The boys basketball teams will play Saturday, Feb. 14.

The boys basketball district tournaments wrapped up Saturday, Feb. 7, and now the playoff bracket for the FHSAA State Championships are set.

Of the 12 West and Southwest Orange high school teams, eight programs will compete for a shot at a state title. The regional quarterfinals start the stretch of lose or go home games and teams will have to win four more games to make it to the championship. Championship games either are Saturday, March 7, or Saturday, March 14, depending on which Class the team is in. 

Here are the quarterfinal games to look out for tomorrow. 

Class 1A

7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 

No. 1 Central Florida Christian Academy vs. No. 8 Halifax Academy 

No. 3 Legacy Charter vs. No. 6 Lake Mary Prep


Class 2A 

6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14

No. 6 Foundation Academy at No. 3 Benjamin 

7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14

No. 2 The First Academy vs. Trinity Catholic


Class 3A

7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14

No. 3 Windermere Prep vs. No. 6 Cardinal Mooney 


Class 7A 

6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14

No. 2 Olympia at No. 7 Palm Beach Central 

7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 

No. 4 Dr. Phillips vs. No. 5 Windermere High
