Seven-vehicle crash in Ocoee leaves one dead

A multi-vehicle crash took place Tuesday, July 21, on Clarke Road, Ocoee. 

According to the Ocoee Police Department, its Traffic Unit currently is investigating the traffic homicide, meaning reckless or negligent operation of a vehicle contributed to the crash.

One unidentified woman died from her injuries, and seven others were transported to the hospital for care. 

While Clarke Road was closed for several hours due to the crash, it is now reopened.
