Windermere Prep students qualified for national speech and debate competition

Three students from Windermere Preparatory School will head to Washington, D.C. May 23-24, for the National Catholic Forensic League Grand Nationals.

Three students from Windermere Preparatory School have qualified for the 2026 National National Catholic Forensic League Grand Nationals. 

Shouqi Han, Class of 2027, qualified for the Lincoln-Douglas Debate. 

Students Diya Somnali and Anya Agnihotri also are Class of 2027 and qualified for Public Forum Debate. 

They'll head to Washington, D.C. from May 23 to May 24 to compete. 

"We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and outstanding performance in debate," the school posted online. "Best of luck as they prepare to represent Windermere Prep on the national stage."
