Oakland to host swearing-in ceremony for elected commissioners

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington, Oakland.

The town of Oakland invites its residents to its swearing-in ceremony of newly elected commissioners at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24. 

Commissioners Kris Keller, Joseph McMullen and Yumeko Motley will take their oath of office. 

There also will be a recognition for former commissioner Sal Ramos, who served the town of Oakland for 10 years before resigning. 

The regular town commission meeting will begin right after at 7 p.m.
