Our Cause 4 Paws Rescue is asking for the community's help to treat a 1-year-old dog.

Radar, a pointer mix, was diagnosed with Bilateral Cranial Cruciate Ligament instability in both knees, affecting his mobility.

"Radar is finding it challenging to walk and engage in activities typical for a dog his age," Our Cause 4 Paws Rescue posted.

To fix his issue, Radar will need to undergo a two-part procedure, called a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

The cost for the first procedure is $5,942.51, scheduled to be completed Thursday, April 2.

"Given the substantial costs associated with this procedure, we are reaching out to our supporters and the community for help," the post continued. "Radar's affectionate nature makes him a beloved companion."
