In one season of collegiate lacrosse, West Orange High boys lacrosse team alumnus Broden Dold has won a national championship.

Dold graduated from West Orange in 2025, where he was a four-year team captain, named MVP and led the Warriors to back-to-back district championships.

He went on to play on the men's lacrosse team at the University of Tampa. In Dold's freshman season, the team clinched the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championship Sunday, May 24, with a 12-11 win over Adelphi University. It was the program's second national title in its history.
