Canstruction canned art competition

Though their palettes included items such as soup cans, bags of rice and boxes of spaghetti, the architectural and engineering “artists” representing Orlando’s business community, volunteer groups and schools created food masterpieces at the 19th annual Canstruction® – Orlando competition. Held Oct. 21 at Orlando Fashion Square, the event unveiled the canned and nonperishable food structures of more than a dozen teams who helped raise awareness and collect donations for Central Florida’s hungry.
