Olympia High softball coach, Metro West softball Coach of the year

The Olympia High School varsity head softball coach Terry Rutledge recently was named Metro West softball Coach of the Year.

The Olympia High School varsity head softball coach Terry Rutledge recently was named Metro West softball Coach of the Year. 

The Lady Titans currently hold a 15-7 overall season record and are currently seated as the No. 3 seed in the Class 7A, District 5. The team is making a comeback from last season as it finished its 2021-22 season with a 4-11 overall record. 

According to the Olympia High School athletics website, this is the best season for the Lady Titans in the last five years. The team will play its last game of the regular season at 4:30 p.m. Thursday against Lake Highland Prep and will host Dr. Phillips High during the district tournament at 6 p.m. Monday, May 1.
