SEPT. 2

Brookshire Elementary School will host a meet-and-greet event with Principal Kenisha Holmes at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2. For more information, call the school at 407-623-1400.

SEPT. 4

The first annual Winter Park High School Spirit Night will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Gator’s Dockside in Baldwin Park. Sponsored by the WPHS Foundation, Gator’s Dockside will give a portion of proceeds to the WPHS Foundation. A Jeremiah’s food truck will also be on the premises and donating a portion of the proceeds to WPHS Foundation.

SEPT. 10

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7 a.m. Audubon Park Elementary School will start its September Walk N Roll, a monthly program that encourages kids and parents to walk or ride a bike to school. Participants use a punch card to track their involvement and are rewarded with stickers, snow cones and smoothies. Raffles are also held for free bike helmets and locks. Reunite with old friends at Trinity Preparatory School’s eighth annual Alumni Back-to-School Social from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Marlow’s Tavern in Winter Park. For more information, call the school at 407-671-4140.

SEPT. 29

Monday, Sept. 29, marks the start of Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Week at Trinity Preparatory School. Donations from a special casual day are donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Students and staff can also encouraged to participate in the Central Florida 5K Race for the Cure on Sunday, Oct. 12, at UCF’s Bright House Networks Stadium. For more information, call 407-671-4140.
