Families enjoyed a day full of fun and games at the 17th annual Oakland Heritage Festival Oct. 25 at Speer Park. The festival featured the 5K Heritage Run, children's activities, a silent auction, historical and cultural displays, narrated tours of historic Oakland, guided tours on Lake Apopka, hayrides, music, a children's art show and much more. The Oakland Avenue Charter School also hosted a plethora of carnival-style games for children.
