The West Orange Warriors did something on Friday they hadn't done in more than 15 years — they beat Apopka.
The 45-31 win gave West Orange a 1-0 start in District 8A-4 competition and improved the Warriors, ranked in the top-10 in the state in Class 8A, to 6-0 on the season.
