Church laces up for annual 5K walk

The seventh annual St. Vincent de Paul 5K Walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, beginning at Resurrection Catholic Church, 1211 S. Vineland Road, Winter Garden.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the walk starts at 8:30 a.m. Rain date will be Sunday, Oct. 19.

In addition to the walk, the event will feature a 50/50 raffle, free breakfast for walkers with sponsors and more.

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit, charitable organization that helps the poor and needy of Winter Garden and Ocoee with electric bills, water bills, food cards, vouchers for clothing and furniture and directing them to additional resources.
