What position do you play and what do you like about it?

I’m a striker. My favorite thing is having to run and shoot the ball in the net and be aggressive.

What is a highlight from last season?

We won our first home game.

What are you looking forward to this season?

We have a bunch of new girls, and so far, our record is better than last year. Hopefully, we’ll win more games.

Any games or opponents you’re excited about this year?

I was excited to play Geneva. We play them twice. We lost to them a lot, but we tied them this year. We already played them twice.

What are your goals for this season for your team?

We want to make it through the first round of districts.

When did you start playing soccer?

I started playing when I was 8. I love being outside and having other girls who I’m with every day. I love the coach and especially the girls. It’s just fun.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I want to go to Bora Bora. I like the ocean.

What’s your favorite subject and why?

I like English. That’s just the easiest subject for me. I like the writing part.

What are your hobbies other than soccer?

I also play volleyball, and I’m also in the school praise band, so I sing in worship.

How long have you been singing?

For the school, this will be my second year with the band. I used to be in choir, so for a long time.

What are your favorite sports to support at Foundation?

Football. I love football. And then baseball, too. Everybody goes to the football games, and I’m really close with all the football players. I love the coach. The games bring everybody closer.

What’s it like playing sports with Type 1 diabetes?

It’s hard because I constantly have to make sure I’m doing OK. Other than that, I’m thankful that God gave me the ability to be able to play sports.
