WINTER GARDEN — The West Orange girls lacrosse team raced out to an 8-0 advantage against the visiting University Cougars (1-4) and never looked back on its way to a 13-3 win on Thursday night.
The Warriors (7-2) celebrated "Throwback Thursday" by having six of the team's girls use old-fashioned wood lacrosse sticks.
West Orange was led by Lucy Fry's four goals on the night. Shea Moran and Sarah Neely each also had three goals.
The Warriors will return to action on March 5 when it travels to play East Ridge (5-1).
