Despite starting in the early morning with temperatures in the high 40s, more than 70 runners gathered at Oakland Nature Preserve for a scenic 3-mile run/walk through the grounds. Afterward, participants had a variety of foods to eat, including pretzels, animal crackers, bananas, rice and beans.
Todd Lytle finished first at 17:54.9. Natasha Yaremenvak finished first among women, sixth overall, at 21:29.4.
