Winter Garden Squeeze struggling after opening win
WINTER GARDEN — The Winter Garden Squeeze hosted and fell to the Leesburg Lightning on June 12.
A close game early, the Lightning blew the contest open with 9 runs, combined, in the eighth and ninth innings.
The loss was the fifth in-a-row for the Squeeze who, after a 4-2 loss on Saturday to Leesburg, have now fallen to 1-6 on the season.
Winter Garden will return to action on Tuesday when it hosts Winter Park (2-5).
