WINTER GARDEN — The West Orange Warriors (11-2) suffered just their second defeat of the season on Sept. 23 as they hosted The First Academy in a volleyball game that was televised locally by Bright House Sports Network.
After winning the first set, 26-24, West Orange fell in the next three — 21-25, 21-25 and 17-26. The Warriors were on the second half of a back-to-back, having defeated district rival Apopka a night earlier on Sept. 22.
The Warriors will now take to the road for three straight contests, playing at Ocoee on Sept. 29 and rival Olympia on Oct. 1. West Orange returns home against area-powerhouse Boone on Oct. 6.
