The Orange County Public Schools School Board and Orange County have entered an agreement regarding the site of the relief high school’s football stadium and track.

The relief high school, located on Winter Garden-Vineland Road, will open in 2017. The stadium will be built on Ficquette Road, one mile south of the school. The location is county-owned property that will also be developed into “Jonathan Scott Pine Park," according to the agreement.

The county has agreed that a portion of this park will be made available for the football stadium, field house and track, while the remaining area of the park will become a multi-use field and a parking area.

The School Board will contribute $2.5 million to the design, development and the construction of the stadium.
