WINDERMERE Over the course of the next week, Windermere residents and those who travel through Windermere should expect road work on Sixth Avenue/Conroy-Windermere Road.

The work will install turn and through lanes for the incoming Rosser Reserve subdivision, ultimately aiding in traffic flow on Sixth Avenue, Windermere Police Chief Dave Ogden said in a Facebook post

Starting Tuesday, July 19, construction work will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., in order to minimize travelers who are affected by the work. The work is scheduled to complete by July 24 or earlier.

During those hours, people should expect delays south of Jennifer Lane to south of the Isleworth neighborhood entrance on Conroy-Windermere Road.

This week is the first phase of the construction project, Ogden said.
