Kole Enright didn't have to wait long to hear his named called on the second day of the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Enright, a recently graduated third baseman for West Orange High, was taken in the third round by the Texas Rangers with the No. 99 selection, overall.

Enright, who is committed to play his college baseball at Stetson University in DeLand should he choose not to go pro, had a breakout senior season for the Warriors in 2016. The former student at Legacy Charter hit .427 for the Warriors in helping lead the program to its first appearance in the FHSAA Final Four. He added 18 extra-base hits (13 doubles, one triple, four home runs) and drove in 21 RBIs while scoring 34 times.
