WINTER GARDEN The Winter Garden Police Department hosted its Hot Pursuit Pedal for PAL event on Sunday, March 6 to raise money for Police Athletic League, which helps at-risk youth get off the street through summer camps, reading programs and more. Pedal for Pal offered four different routes for riders: the 100-mile, 65-mile, 25-mile and 10-mile routes. Each route took riders on a scenic journey through West Orange and Lake Counties.
Participants received an event T-shirt and enjoyed a pre-ride breakfast, post-ride barbecue lunch, live music from a deejay, massages, smoothies and more. Rest and snack stops were also provided along each route.
